Dr. Christopher Macadam, DC
Dr. Christopher Macadam began practicing in Connecticut over 20 years ago after graduating from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri. He specializes in treating spinal related conditions of the neck, mid-back, and low back including sciatica, arm/leg pain, carpal tunnel, and other nerve conditions. Dr. Macadam has a fellowship in acupuncture. He treats patients with traditional needle style as well as needle-free laser and electric acupuncture.
Dr. Macadam is well known in the community. He enjoys a wonderful working relationship with many local physicians as well as specialists. His professional relationships with these doctors allows Dr. Macadam’s patients the comfort of knowing that if a specialty consultation is needed it will be addressed quickly. Dr. Macadam’s reputation as a kind, caring and knowledgeable health professional is evident by his long-standing relationships with his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Macadam is extremely active with his 4 boys, playing both sports and music. He is also quite active in volunteering with his town with a special focus on education.
Dr. David Meder, DC
Dr. David Meder has been practicing in the Norwich area for the past 19 years after having a successful sports-oriented practice in Boston for over 6 years. Each year, Dr. Meder attends numerous continuing education classes to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge within his profession, including a 100-hour specialization in rehabilitation of neck and low back injuries, especially for chronic conditions. Dr. Meder is also a golf-injury chiropractor studying with Back to Basics Golf Academy. He was honored in 2007 by being elected as a member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians.
Besides enjoying time at home with his two children, he also volunteers in his home town. He is a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scouts of America training in First Aid and is an EMT and a lieutenant in the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department. Recently, he was asked to be the training officer for the Guilford Rescue Squad. He has worked as an area manager for Massachusetts Special Olympics and has volunteered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Dr. Justin Corbelle, DC
Dr. Justin Corbelle is passionate about helping people achieve optimal function and performance through chiropractic care. He has practiced in both Connecticut and Colorado after graduating from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Additionally, he has a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut.
Growing up, chiropractic care was an essential part of Dr. Corbelle’s life. As an athlete and asthmatic, regular adjustments helped him stay healthy both on and off the field. Seeing the results first hand gave him a new perspective on how chiropractic affects the whole body and inspired his personal pursuit.
Dr. Corbelle specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries, alleviating chronic pain and enhancing one’s health. His techniques include adjustments, acupuncture, rehabilitation therapy, soft tissue work and functional taping. He has received additional training for children, pregnancy, athletes, and whiplash-type injuries.
Dr. Corbelle lives in Glastonbury with his wife and newborn son. In his spare time, you’re likely to find him outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and playing soccer.
